Do you know what SONDERO is?
Sondero is the name of an emotion that each of you has probably experienced at least once in your life, but perhaps didn’t know what word to call it.
Sondero is an emotion that comes to a person at the moment of realizing that every person he meets on his way has the same life difficulties as he does.
Sondero is when you suddenly realize that every person has the same bright and complex life as you.
That every passerby has his own personal space inside.
That the world for each of them revolves only around him.
That each of them is the main character of his own movie.
And you in these movies are just an extra, as they are for you.
That no one can look at the world through your eyes and you will never be able to look at the world through someone else’s eyes except your own.
That absolutely every person lives life ABOUT THEMSELVES.
That even when a person loves you, this love is FOR HIM, not for you. He loves you FOR HIMSELF.
⠀
Sondero is when you look at people in the subway or airport with an abstract expression and suddenly realize that each of them is a separate universe, complex and incomprehensible, and that you can write a book about each of them.
And all of them, at first glance gray and faceless figures, carry within themselves this weight of the uniqueness of their own world, which, just like your world, no one will ever fully know.
